I’m really happy to see so many different incredible milk alternatives, but this is the best tasting and the best performing milk alternative I have had so far! I’m incredibly happy with the purchase and will continue to buy this for my coffee based milk drinks!
Sunflower flavor from the oil is just a little top strong.
Mylk by Myracle Kitchen is a great alternative milk product for those who can't have dairy. It has a fairly mild flavor. I was impressed that even though coconut is one of the ingredients, it does not taste like coconut at all; that's a positive for me as I don't like coconut flavor in coffee. The customer service is also great!
I bought Mylk to replace dairy in cappuccinos. The Mylk foamed ok, but quickly broke down in the coffee (within a couple of minutes), tasting simply like hot milk without the creamy texture of dairy milk. I'm not sure whether or not a commercial machine would produce a different experience. I have seen YouTube videos where it looks as though foamed Mylk holds up longer, but as a home brewer/foamer that was not my experience. Maybe a higher-end machine would produce a better result (we have a Breville Barista Express) or perhaps a quickly consumed single shot cappuccino would preserve the milky foam texture longer. If you are looking for an alternative milk and aren't looking for using it to foam, it's definitely worth trying.
So far our experience has been great with Mylk. We love the sweet but also subtle taste, and we noticed it steams quite well once you understand how to approach it. The only thing we were somewhat shocked about is that it isn't gluten free, but it's not a deal breaker.
